Citizen

• Article 20 TFEU: citizenship of EU / national of a Member State / automatically citizen of Union / gives rights & imposes duties / in addition to nationality
• Article 21 TFEU: citizen right to move and reside freely / subject to the limitations & conditions in Treaty

Discrimination

• Article 18 TFEU: prohibits discrimination on grounds of nationality

Workers

• Article 45(1)TFEU: free movement of workers
• Article 45(2) TFEU: no discrimination / on nationality
• Article 18 TFEU: non-discrimination / applied by ECJ for workers (Netherlands v Reed)
